Its already August this week and I seriously can't believe how fast time is flying by! I would be lying if I didn't say I was just a bit excited for the Fall season to hit. With Baby O due to arrive early September, Fall is quickly becoming my favorite season. I am also 34 weeks pregnant and dying from the hot weather and humidity so a cool Fall breeze sounds perfect to me at the moment. With the Fall season coming up I wanted to pull 6 Fall Trends for 2018 that I am dying to start rocking. With every new season comes a multitude of new looks and outfits you get to create so switching seasons is basically every fashionista's dream.
The trends I am outlining are definitely not the only ones for this upcoming season, but they're my favorites. I pulled a few items for each trend to help you babes start building your Fall wardrobe! My tip: try to get rid of a previous Fall piece when you buy a new one to make space for all the new and to help keep your closet fresh. It can be hard getting rid of things, but if you can only pull one memory in the last year of wearing something then move it to the side and bring in the new!

6 Fall Trends for 2018
Very, Cherry Red
Red can be such a hard color for so many people to wear because they can feel intimidated by the boldness. I am hear to tell you that you should totally rock it! It's a bold statement color that can make you feel bold which is never a bad thing. It's so hot this coming season and can be such a fun pop of color in any classic look. If you're not into wearing it all over then just start with small accessories like a purse or fun shoes to bring in the trend. I promise you'll end up loving it and feeling oh so sassy in whatever look you rock.
Another trend that goes with this is pairing red and pink together. Like, how fun is that? This is obviously a very fierce look, but again maybe rock a pink top and pair it with some red flats to be so on trend you can't help but be noticed!
You probably already know by now that I have a major obsession with leopard print. It's my absolute favorite neutral and I'm so excited about it being a hot trend for this upcoming Fall season. Leopard print can be made to look fierce or totally classic. It's a great way to make a white tee and jean look stand out + can be easily popped into so many different styles. I did a post last year about mixing prints to show just how easy it is to bring leopard print into a look.
Another trend to try: polka dots! These have been seen all throughout social media the past year and I still can't get enough of them. If leopard print is just too much for you then rock a polka dot skirt or top to be a trend for 2018.
Top Handle Bag
Purses can be such a fun accessory to bring any look together and top handle bags are definitely a statement piece. I think they bring a chic look to any style and can easily be worn by all. I also love how unique each bag can be depending on the designer or the look overall. A top handle bag is the perfect piece for a brunch out with your girlfriends or a date night look with your man!
If you live in a cold place like Minnesota then tights usually need to be brought into your wardrobe come November. I am not one to say goodbye to my skirts or dresses during the cold months and a girl can only have so many pairs of OTK boots. Colorful tights are such a fun way to bring a pop of color to your look and can easily make a boring look more playful. Step out of your box and mix patterns with colorful tights to really bring a flare to this 2018 trend. Tights are super affordable and can be worn by all!
This color has been in and out of the fashuon world for the past couple years and I'm happy it's not going anywhere! Dusty pink is a really easy color to wear for most people. It gives off a very feminine vibe that can be made ultra feminine or dressed down to bring a boring look to life. I bought a dusty pink blazer last year and have made it work for so many looks. I've paired it with leather skirts and silk camisoles or gone the totally different direction and styled distressed denim with a basic white tee for a casual look. Whatever you decided to do, this trend is an easy one to add into your closet and can last for years to come.
I have loved seeing this trend start popping up in my feed. Girls are totally rocking the men's blazer and bringing a super chic look to it that I'm obsessed with. This is definitely a bit of a more bold trend and has to be done right to make it work. Pairing it with skinny jeans and stilettos or a super sexy skirt can easily make your feminine look way more fierce.
