2017: The Year of Focus & Success

Happy New Year, babes!! This post is coming a couple weeks later than planned, but better late than never! Looking back at 2016 has been such an eye opener. I can't believe the amount of things we were able to fit in to one whole year, which then makes my mind go in a million and one directions with dreams and ideas of what could come from this year. When Kirby and I were on our honeymoon in September 2015, we started chatting about the next year and what we wanted to come from it. 2014 & 2015 were the craziest years yet. We were planning for the biggest day of our lives and sadly went through one of the biggest losses in our family during all of that. 2016 to us, looked like freedom. We dubbed it as "The Year of Doing" and made sure to fit in as many trips, adventures and new things as we possibly could into the 365 days we were given. We did things that I personally never thought I would EVER do in my life and went places more beautiful than I would have ever imagined a place could be. After a year full of travels and pushing ourselves into new experiences, we decided that we wanted to place a theme on 2017 that led us in the direction we are currently striving to be in... 2017 is dubbed as "The Year of Focus & Success" {#YOFS}. We aren't necessarily going to stop pushing ourselves into new things, but we are going to truly zero in on the things pushing us into the success that we want to be in both in our businesses, in our lives and in our marriage. I can't wait to see where this year takes us and I can't wait to continue to share the journey with all of you beautiful people 🙂

I hope you enjoy the look back on one of the most adventurous years of our lives!

[…] 2017: The Year of Focus & Success – We finally started talks of me working towards being a full time blogger and we both wanted to make that happen. Kirby was also, at the time, dabbling in a few different business ideas. It was a tough journey as I hated my job, but didn't quite know what direction to go in right away. So happy I landed here today. […]
