Two Looks for Transitioning Into Spring

18 Styles for Transitioning Into Spring | Everyday Chiffon

It's still freezing and snowing like crazy here in Minnesota. I don't know about you, but I'm so over winter sweaters, boots and layering every cute look with jackets. A closet refresh and brighten wardrobe is exactly what I needed. I've slowly started transitioning out of my dull mute colors and into bright patterned hues for Spring. Something about bright fun colors that totally changes your mood. With it being still absolutely freezing I have to get creative with bringing Spring pieces into my looks. I sharing my favorite two styles for transitioning into Spring.

Dress Over Denim

I've been such a fan of layering dresses over jeans for years. It's an easy way to bring Spring & Summer pieces right into the cooler months. I actually shared this with you last Fall in my transitioning style post. This little trick can seriously help you all year round.

Midwest living can be tough on our closets because we lose about half of it each season. I'm a huge dress wearing girl. I love being able to start buying new pieces for the upcoming season, but not having to wait months to wear. Bringing out my creativity to style a look is always one of my favorite things to do. Tip: If your dress is sleeveless or it's really cool just layer your dress with a cute leather, suede or jean jacket!

Sweater Over Dress

I just got into this trend in the past year. I think it's a little bit more difficult to style because you need the right cut on the sweater to work with a dress. I have a short torso so if I don't have the right one it can be too boxy, but that might not be the case for you. I like more of a clean look and try to stay away from anything being too potato sack like. Make sure if you have a baggy sweater that your dress is more fitted. If you own a jumper dress or satin camisole dress (any type of scrappy dress) you can also layer a sweater under for a totally different look.
