Brunch Baby Shower for Baby O

You all may know by know that ever since pregnancy started I've had a major obsession with breakfast food. I was never really the biggest fan of it pre-pregnancy and now can't get enough of it. So when my mom started asking me what type of shower I wanted, it was basically a no brainer that it needed to be a Brunch Baby Shower. To be honest, at first she was a little confused on what that meant, but as I started listing off my favorite brunch foods she ran with it and the outcome was amazing.

I am so lucky to have so many people who helped in making this dream shower come true! Baby O is loved unconditionally by so many and I can't say thank you enough to each and every single person who helped with decor, food, games and the overall day! I also really appreciate everyone who made it out for the shower from Chicago, South Dakota, Florida and more.

Brunch Baby Shower

Throwing a brunch baby shower seems easy, but it did take a lot of planning. I wanted chicken & waffles, pancakes, quiche and donuts. With almost everything having to be made fresh that morning it was a lot of work for my mom (+ other family members) in having to make things early enough to set up, but not too early so things were still warm. It worked out super well, but just keep that in mind when thinking about having a brunch baby shower.

Details

When I walked into my family home that morning before the shower I couldn't believe the amount of little details that went into the entire party. My mother-in-law, Ardis, is really detailed oriented when it comes to anything decoration and I am so lucky to have her in my life. She went as far as putting the little baby hanging from the storks mouth in chiffon fabric because well... Everyday Chiffon. I mean, how cute is that? I included the details below of each little thing to help you or your family plan the perfect brunch baby shower.

Food

Waffles & chicken - we used the mini waffles + chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A to keep things bite size

Mini Pancakes + syrup in little baby bottles (like, I can't even!)

Mini Quiche

Assorted Donut Holes

Yogurt parfait bar - greek yogurt, berries and granola

Decor

Mom-Osa Bar - assorted juice with fruit and champagne

Stork with baby hanging in chiffon

Balloons

Diaper cake (made by my sweet step mama)

Bassinet filled with presents - this was sp special because it was the bassinet that all of us siblings used

Mama to be decorated chair

Cute rhyme signs

Photo booth wall - my sister and mom designed this by simply using a white sheet and hanging pretty greenery against it

Hangin puff tissue balls

Big playing blocks

The gift every guest took home was a cute mini Champagne bottle that is meant to be popped on the day Baby O is born to help send good vibes to us and the baby. There were mini Crush bottles for kids to take with candy attached.

Games

Nursery Rhyme - list of different nursery rhymes you have to finish

Baby O guessing game

Pin the sperm on the uterus - this was hilarious

Don't say baby - each guest gets a pin upon arrival. Whenever you hear someone say baby you take their pin and whoever has the most at the end of the party wins

*Prizes - My mom simply bought an assortment of Yankee Candles that the winner of each game got to take home because we doesn't love a brand new candle?
