I’m so ready for the Super Bowl next weekend and I honestly think it’s mainly because I can’t wait to eat all the food. Does anyone else feel me on that? I’m always the one making way too much food and then also the one eating every single thing put out. I don’t know if it’s the funny commercials, the fact that my team is almost NEVER in the Super Bowl (Go Bears, ha!), or the fact the I just really like food. All of the above maybe? So when I found these delicious Game Day Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders from Taste of Home I knew I needed to whip them up.
If you follow me on IG stories you would have seen Kirby and I making these a couple weeks back. I will say, these are definitely not the healthiest recipe I have ever posted, but they are so worth every calorie! We cut the recipe in half since it was just us two, but it would be super easy to double or even triple depending on how many people you are entertaining. It was super easy to make and they seriously melted in your mouth! I loved that the recipe used Sweet Hawaiian Rolls because it definitely added to the yummy taste.
Whether you’re heading to a party, hosting people or just hanging with the family these Game Day Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders will definitely please everyone. I categorized these as an appetizer, but we actually made these for dinner and were able to spread them out a few nights.

Enjoy babes!

- Preheat oven to 350°. Without separating rolls, cut each package of rolls horizontally in half; arrange bottom halves in two greased 13x9-in. baking pans. Sprinkle each pan of rolls with 1 cup cheese. Bake 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink and onion is tender, breaking up beef into crumbles; drain. Stir in tomatoes, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until combined.
- Spoon beef mixture evenly over rolls; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Top with bacon. Replace tops.
- For glaze, in a microwave-safe bowl combine butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Microwave, covered, on high until butter is melted, stirring occasionally. Pour over rolls; sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake, uncovered, 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.
