Shoe love is true love and I really believe that. I don't think there are many styles I dislike especially when it comes to Spring and Summer looks. I'm 23 weeks and 3 days pregnant today and as the heat starts to pick up I can definitely see the whole swollen feet thing coming to life. My feet have always been a bit of a pain (literally) and now with expecting a baby the pain is real. Having to think of comfort is more real than ever right now and finding the perfect summer wedges for mama to be was number 1 on my list.
I don't think comfort should have to be something us expecting mama's or anyone for that matter should have to give up when it comes to style. Trust me when I say, I definitely used to be that girl that would by the newest style and put my poor feet through the worst pain just to look good. As I've gotten older I just can't do it anymore. I have had so many little issues with my feet and taking care of them is now something I really try to focus on. It's definitely hard saying no to cute styles and looks, but if I know its just going to cause me pain I don't even mess with it anymore. Summer wedges can either be super comfortable or a pain in my butt. Some are just too tight, too narrow or way too high for this mama, but I didn't want to give that look up just because my feet are swelling (I swear not all the time, thank God!).

Summer Comfort for Expecting Mama's
It's important to find cute and comfortable shoes as a mama to be especially during the warm summer months. The throbbing, swollen thing is something I think most women deal with when expecting and it is not fun to be squeezed into shoes if that's happens. It's hard as a fashionista to find cute and extra comfortable sandals that allow you to keep your style. Well, I totally found that with these Revere sandals. The wedge style still gives me that little height boost I love for showing off my legs and the comfort is on a different level. It's basically like walking on air which is something I totally needed. I also love that the straps are all adjustable so if my feet do start to swell I can move the straps to better fit around them.
Revere shoes has a ton of cute sandal for this Summer and the best thing about all of them is the comfort. Revere Shoes has been around since 2012 and has always made comfort as the key component for all of their styles. Having a brand who truly thinks of sizing for each individual person is really unique. I think people forget how important it is to take care of your feet and without a good shoe it's almost impossible. It amazes me that the styles can fit into so many different looks and age ranges. My sandal is the Rosario and it was my favorite on the site. I opted for the all black look because I needed something to go with as many looks as possible, but I also love the one with black & tan as well.

Finding Good Brands When You're Shoe Obsessed
You all know that I am a shoe queen. For some reason I have always gravitated towards shoes when it comes to completing any look. My mom is also a shoe queen (shocker) and taught me at a young age that finding good brands is so crucial. I don't splurge on every pair of shoe because I'm not a millionaire, but shoes are definitely the one thing I splurge on most. When you find a good brand, like Revere Shoes, that fit to your feet perfectly, actually take comfort seriously and offer good styles, it's important to hold onto that. Knowing the right brands to splurge on is what makes the biggest difference.
When I spend some cash on good shoes I know that I am going to have the for years to come and I know I'm going to get a lot of good use out of them. Without knowing which brands are good and which brands actually use quality products for creating their styles can have you wasting money + going through way too many pairs of shoes. Make sure to focus on their story, the reviews and really look at what they're using to make their shoes. I have definitely fallen into a trap before and basically cry if I have a pair of splurge shoes not last longer than a year. Know what you're buying and it will honestly feel good to spend the money especially when you end up rocking them for years to come.

About the Look
I am rocking the Rosario pair in my look and it was definitely one of my favorites. I opted for the all black pair because I wanted it to go with as many looks as possible, but the black and tan pair is super cute as well. I've been pretty open on Instagram about how truly difficult it has been to love jeans during my pregnancy and let me tell you, these boyfriend fit distressed jeans are my new loves. I wear them all the time and they hug me in all the right places + I can dress them up or down which is a win since I don't want to buy tons of jeans with only 4 months left to go! I got this adorable floral off the shoulder smock top from my Dad (he loves shopping, lucky me!) and it's the perfect Summer top + I love that straw purse and hats are in because they're the best accessory. My Revere Shoes tied in the whole look and helped make the perfect casual Summer evening mama to be style.
