Master Bedroom Reveal
Seeing this space come together has been so much fun! Kirby and I spent a lot of time planning out what we wanted to do with our master bedroom and it's turned out even better than we could imagine. It's our special space in our home with so many little meaningful pieces added into it. It's full of love, past memories and so much calmness. I'm excited to share all the details + a look at the before & after! Totally mind blowing seeing this home before we started putting our touches on it!
We knew when we bought the house that we were going to need to be creative with making such a small master bedroom work. Luckily, our king size bed fit or we may have bought a different house (only slightly kidding). Having the fun built-in made it easier by being able to skip having a dresser or storage in the room. Both of us having our own walk in closets is another big space saver (vey unusual for 100+ year old home). Our goal for our home is to have it flow throughout with decor, vibe, colors, etc. If you caught our entryway reveal, I think you can see immediately that we have that same feel going into our master bedroom.
Wayfair has some of the best options out there for literally everything! We had to search up & down for side tables that were small enough, but still came with some storage + actually fit our style. Thankfully we were able to find so many of our new decor pieces from Wayfair like our area rug, comforter, headboard, side tables and even the wall planters used in our collage wall.
**Paint color: Repose Grey SW 7015 on the wall and Pure White SW 7005 trim, built-in, doors, etc.
I never really know what our home decor style would be called, but I think it's somewhere between minimalist, boho and maybe even a little farmhouse? Either way, I continue to love each space we in our home more and more and can't wait to keep sharing! My two next projects are the basement & our front porch - stay tuned!
