Happy December 2nd beauties! Hard to believe we are 23 days away from the best day of the year (obviously aside from my birthday) and in the midst of some of the most fun holiday parties a girl could ask for 🙂 This fun little holiday red dress is the perfect piece to bring in Christmas cheer while still looking fabulous as ever.
It’s weird to think I would really even need tights with this look because it’s still hitting the 60’s & 70’s here in Denver, but let’s be honest, there was no way I was going to pass up polka dot tights. I wore these same one’s in my birthday shoot and just can’t get enough of them. They’re super affordable, comfortable and add such a fun, chic look to any outfit. I'm also totally loving that the whole tight and socks with heels trend came back because it adds a whole other accessory to use in a look. It definitely helps with a bit more comfort too! Win, win!
Some people shy away from reds over the holiday season because they believe it’s too over played or too cheesy, but I am 100% the opposite. I’m not much of a red girl during the year (minus College game days… GBR!) so when Christmas hit’s it's all I can think of wearing. It's such a pop and brings so much holiday cheer to a look without really even having to anything. It's sexy, sassy and I think brings a sense of confidence to people when they where it which can be so hard in fashion sometimes. With it being such a power color it can almost be intimidating to wear which again I think is all the reason to rock it through the Christmas Season. If the red is really just too much for you maybe try a black dress with red embellished details like this one here.
I bought this dress for Europe this past summer and loved rocking it in Milan. It’s such a cute & simple dress which is definitely my go to. It helped that it was extra comfortable with all the pasta eating in Italy too. The dropped waist is flattering on everyone and keeps things classy if you choose to wear it to a holiday office party especially when paired with a fun faux fur coat!Â
I wore these polka dot tights with my birthday look this year and like I said early, I can't get enough of them! When I styled the tights with this look I instantly knew I obviously need to get more fun designed tights! They helped make the whole look more fun and festive and completely my holiday red dress look!Â
