I am a girl that is constantly on the go. I have been like that my whole life and as I've gotten older it only seems to get more hectic as each day goes on. I just officially became a full-time blogger a few weeks ago and I'm loving every minute. A lot of people think being a blogger is a super glamorous life filled with photoshoots, free things, fun events and more. Although, all of that is true it's not half as glamorous as everyone thinks. Its filled with constant emails, contract negotiations, writing all day and all night long, being in charge of props and layouts, taking over email marketing and all things tech. It's a lot of work and with all of that a girl can only hope for a comfortable pair of shoes to do it all in right? I'm here to share my tips on busy girls guide to chic and comfortable shoes.

Aside from my own personal blog I also co-host a blogger community called My Haute Society. Between keeping my own business in check and constantly adding new resources, recording new podcasts and heading to different meetings my days are always full of something. Comfy and chic shoes is such a necessity especially now more than ever with being a pregnant girl on the move. I've always been a huge lover of heels and have been wearing them since I can remember. I love the extra high and the femininity they bring to any look, but with an ever-growing bump heels just don't cut it for a day & night on-the-go. 

Chic & Comfort

It's not always easy to find chic and comfort in the same shoe style. If you follow along on my Instagram stories at all, you know by now that I'm pretty obsessed with my new Sofft Novella sneakers from Zappos. I seriously can't stop wearing them. The grey color is great for basically all of my outfits and I love that they're made of breathable mesh. With how hot I'm going to get this Summer that will be a total win! Comfort is a big thing I started looking for in shoes a couple years back when I found out I had a bit of arthritis in my feet. I can't say it stopped me from wearing my favorite heels, but it definitely made me start thinking twice. Now with Baby O on the way comfort is all I can think about. With back pain, even more sore feet than before and the fact that your balance gets a little off I can't handle wearing my high heels for as long as I liked to. I need comfort and I need something that makes my feet feel happy. I also need something that goes with my dresses, my jeans, my shorts, my leggings and so much more. That's basically why I'm obsessed with these Sofft shoes.

Sun Up to Sun Down

From daytime errands and meetings to nights out running around to whatever I'm craving that day these babies are my first choice. Like I stated above the color makes it super easy to match with basically everything I own. I have honestly never owned a grey pair of sneakers and I feel like my life is changed forever. I'm also obsessed with the fact that the breathable mesh material makes it easy to slide them on and off without ruining the back of the shoes and without having to untie them. 

Having shoes that work with all my looks and can easily be dressed up or down makes it much easier being a busy girl. My new role as a mama-to-be has definitely added a new mixer to my daily life. I need comfort more then anything right now and I need easiness because with this extra role my days have become even more busy than before. Plus, with all the upcoming changes Kirby and I have ahead I love that I have a pair of shoes that can take me from day to night no matter what we're doing.
