So since I totally dropped the ball on sharing April's Best Finds, I'm just going to combine the two. April & May were busy month's for my wallet... Lol. With our first big family vacation over Easter, I had lots of summer clothing to snag (I still wasn't down to my pregnancy size at that time) + new family travel gear. Since I'm combining two months into one post it's going to be full of double the products! It was hard to narrow it down to 10 from each month, but I did! My best finds series is meant to be a place that I share only the top products purchased. My Spring's Best Finds post is full of lots of style, baby travel gear and so many other goodies.
If you're wanting to see more in depth posts on all of the styles pieces or travel gadgets purchased, check out these two posts: Arizona Outfit Round-Up & Tips for Traveling with a Baby. I linked every single look I wore from our Easter vacation which consists of basically everything I bought for myself last month. The travel tips posts is loaded with all the accessories we bought for making a smooth travel day + everything we learned from our first flight! I also included every single thing we packed in Addison's diaper bag & suitcase!
Rolled Hem Stretch Denim Shorts - Joe's Jeans have always been some of my favorites. I can usually count on finding affordable ones at Nordstrom Rack and these are everything! So stretchy and hug all the right places. I'm wearing a size 27 and recommend sizing down if you're between two.
High Waisted Mid-Length Distressed Denim Shorts - I'm embarrassed to admit how much I wear these shorts. Like, probably every other day if the weather is nice. It had been years since I ordered from Abercrombie & Fitch and I am so happy I took the risk. I ordered two sizes and stuck with the 28/6. They're notorious for running a bit small and that's still true in my opinion. I highly recommend these babies! High waisted, comfy distressed fabric and the perfect mid length.
Leopard Print Shorts - Hello to the most comfortable and sassy shorts ever. They're so affordable and can easily be dressed up or down. I'm wearing a size small and recommend sizing down if you're in-between. I have long legs so they're are a little bit shorter on me, but work great still.
Casual Sandal Wedges - These are probably one of my favorite purchases of Spring. They're unbelievably comfortable and still give the perfect height. I like them because I can wear them with denim shorts and quickly spice up a normal mom uniform. 100% worth the cost!
Leopard Espadrilles - A classic Spring & Summer shoe style. This pair will be worn a ton!
Striped high waisted Bikini & Floral Print high waisted bikini - Both of these were by far the favorite items from my Amazon Try-On. Each bikini is under $35 and will be put to good use this summer in the pool with Addison. *The striped one runs a bit large so I would recommend sizing down.
Lace Strapless Bralette - For being someone who hates bras, I always struggle extra with finding a good strapless style. This is by far the best one I've had in years. It still has underwire which is great for support, but doesn't have padding! I never wear padding normally and dreaded having to with dresses and tank tops. I'm wearing the medium for reference!
Travel Thermos - The intent was to use the thermos for the flight trip to AZ. Instead I'm loving this more for everyday use because it's a little bulky for airport travel (in my opinion). I make most of Addison's food so having this for bringing lunch on the go is efficient.
Ipod Take Along Tunes - Addison's love for music runs deep, right alongside his obsession for things the light up. His personal Ipod is a favorite toy of his and the perfect all in one gadget for traveling.
Organic Cotton Sleepsack - I've always been a fan of the Halo Sleepsacks, but this Burt's Bee one is by far the best. It's super soft and has a little button the covers the zipper (perfect now that Addison is into pulling zippers) at the bottom. Bonus: it's a few bucks cheaper than Halo!
UV Sun Hat - I did a lot of digging to find the perfect sun hat. The back neck flap is a big reason I chose this one instead of a traditional bucket hat. With a crawling baby on the move I wanted to make sure he would be covered. Addison has a big head so I purchased the toddler size. It works great because it has an adjustable string & ties under the chin.
Wood "Baby" Gate - If you're on the hunt for a stylish gate to block something other than a doorway, this is it! With currently living in a small apartment we needed something to block Addison off from terrorizing Sully's cat pan. I was a little nervous about him pulling on it to stand, but whenever the time comes I can just buy legs to stabilize it. This gate has worked great for us and as a bonus even blocked the tall book shelve!
Outdoor Waterproof Blanket - With Addison being a lover of the outdoors this was the perfect Mother's Day gift. Benefit of being a blogger: If you do you research well enough, you may just end up with the gift you pick! I included the blanket in my Mother's Day Gift Guide and Kirby listened!
Molded Glass Table Torches - These were another gift, but I had to include them. Minnesota is covered in bugs during the Summer. I like having something cute that can sit on the table without totally ruining your decor.
Silicone Steamer - Calling anyone who is making homemade baby food on the weekly! Love this thing so much. Really easy to clean & use.
Lip Scrub - I'm not sure if it's the lack of water or the lack of lip creams, but I always struggle with dry lips. Lush brand lip scrub is probably my favorite, but with it being freshly made I don't go through the scrub quick enough. I really like this product and it makes my lips so soft afterwards. It's also really affordable!
Body Butter - Technically this was sent to me for a collaboration, but it's so good I had to share. Most body butters that I like are fairly pricey. I highly recommend this for the price, the feel and the amazing smell.
