I don’t know about you, but I’m a huge fan of apple cider. There is nothing better than sipping on a warm cinnamon flavor cider while enjoying the beauty of winter. So I decided to make it even better by adding some wine and Carmel apple flavoring because isn’t that what the holiday’s are all about?! This Thanksgiving Day Caramel Apple Sangria is super easy, packed with flavor and the perfect addition to cooking in the kitchen all day.
I had so much fun mixing up this drink last Sunday evening with Kirby. We had it with our Zucchini Crust Pizza and it was the perfect Fall festive drink for a chilly night. It was extra special because it was our last Sunday night home for about 3 weeks with all the travel we have going on. We always appreciate our time in the kitchen together, it’s one of our favorite things to do together.
I will be honest it’s not a warm cider drink however you probably could make it that way if you wanted. The original recipe from A Night Owl Blog used a sweet white wine and a bit more caramel syrup then I like because it was just too sweet so keep that in mind.
