Breastfeeding is exhausting and makes me hungry literally all the time. Having a quick and healthy snack to enjoy is super crucial for me. I was really happy when I found the recipe for these energy bites. Supposedly Brewers Yeast & Flax Seed help milk supply and I don’t see why having a yummy snack that may help milk supply as a bad thing. Plus, whenever chocolate is involved I’m all ears! These energy bits AKA booby balls are my favorite thing to snack on.

They’re super easy to make and loaded with healthy ingredients making them the perfect little snack. I try to only have 2-3 a day because I feel like with the honey, chocolate ad peanut butter they could be a bit high in sugar.

I had my mother-in-law make these for m originally and just made them myself this past weekend. I doubled the recipe, but will probably make 4-5 next time. I freeze all of them and pull out about 5-6 to have in the refrigerator. I then just keep pulling them out as I need them. FYI, if you’re not breastfeeding these are still a great snap to have on hand!

Tip: Having one of these after a feeding in the middle of the night is the perfect thing!

Make sure to check out my to see everything else I’m snacking on!
